Preparing the Vehicle
Upon completing our inspection, the preparation process begins.
This multi-hour process includes a foam cannon pre-soak to loosen heavy dirt to help gently lift it away from the surface during our 3-bucket hand wash.
The vehicle then undergoes a chemical decontamination to remove embedded particles in the paintwork, followed by a claybar to remove any further contaminants. This 18-step process ensure the surface is smooth and perfectly 'naked'.
We document any relative damage to the vehicle during this process to include in our Detailing Report provided to the client post-service.
Wheels on a high performance car like this need protection from the brake dust and tar that they will come in contact with.
These wheels were removed from the vehicle, heavily decontaminated, then coated with CQuartz Professional. We also coated the calipers - all for easy future maintenance.
Paint
Correction
We often believe that a new vehicle, simply because it is 'new', will have perfect paint - but that is, in most cases, far from reality.
That is why we at Unleashed Auto Care meticulously inspect the paintwork of new vehicles for our clients before and after delivery - repairing scratches, sanding marks, and other factory or dealer-induced defects before applying vital protection.
This paintwork, including the carbon fiber, had signs of neglect at a factory level.
After taking hundreds of paint measurements and properly identifying the types of defects, we carefully removed them to the highest quality, safest level possible. This resulted in almost every defect being removed - Defining Perfection in Detail.
This revealed a high-gloss, incredibly metallic finish that revived the rich, deep blue it should be.
