ULTIMATE NEW VEHICLE PROTECTION

When we were contacted by this client - their needs and goals for their new Trackhawk was clear: durable protection, utilizing only the best available products.

After discussing options, the owner made the choice to have the entire front end of the vehicle, along with the full rockers protected with our STEK DYNOshield Self-Healing Paint Protection Film.

It was also decided to perform a full top-class ceramic coating installation on the paintwork, wheels, calipers, glass, and plastics - using none other than CQuartz Finest Reserve.

Understanding the clients desires for their vehicle, we got to work and began the preservation process.

THE INSPECTION

In order to ensure the best possible results, the client had specifically requested that the dealer did not remove any of the factory-applied protective adhesive materials from the inside and outside of the vehicle. While it may seem like an easy process removing these plastics, we often find new vehicles become scratched or damaged when they are not carefully removed.

Upon arriving at our facility, it was confirmed that the dealer left every factory sticker and protective film for us to remove - just as we like it!

WASH PROCESS

Like every vehicle that comes to us for professional-grade protective services, we always begin the service by thoroughly washing the vehicle and ridding it of contamination often found on new vehicles - including rail/transport dust, road salts and grime.

This Trackhawk was meticulously prepped using the following methods:

Proper 2-bucket hand wash of the body of the vehicle
Individual wheel washing with a dedicated bucket & cleaning tools
Chemical decontamination for iron & tar removal
Clay bar process completed as required to further remove contamination
Combination of air-drying and hand-drying the vehicle using our filtered, heated air dryer and soft premium-grade microfiber towels

Properly prepping the vehicle ensures the results we achieve are consistent every time. As seen in the next section, the wheels would be removed and heavily cleansed while the calipers also received a heavy cleaning prior to both being ceramic-coated for easy future washing.

Removal of all wheels, Deep Cleaning off-vehicle
Tar removal on wheels, wheel arches
Hand-cleaning of brake calipers

- Ultimate protection for high gloss, 800f+ heat resistance and easy washing
Shortwave IR Infrared curing of all materials coated with Finest Reserve to ensure a thorough curing of the ceramic coatings for the best durability and performance.

As seen in the photos, the wheels turned purple when sprayed with our pH-balanced iron remover, indicating a heavy buildup of brake dust and relative contamination that was necessary to remove prior to ceramic coating.

With all coatings completed, we re-installed the wheels and torqued to factory specifications using our electronically-controlled Snap-On Torque Wrench which is accurate within 2%. Our clients safety is important to us, so we ensure we we only utilize the best tools and products.
