After having their vehicle detailed with us previously via one of our Essentials Detail packages, the owner of this BMW M235i simply wanted more.

After discussing her goals for the vehicle, we decided on the following to help restore and protect her pride and joy:

Paint Correction - to remove swirls, scratches, and increase the depth and gloss of the paint significantly
Paint Protection Film - to protect against rock chips and deep scratches with our signature self-healing film.
Ceramic Coatings - To increase the gloss and add hydrophobic, self-cleaning abilities to the entire vehicle, we added our CQuartz Professional ceramic coating that provides incredible gloss and shine that is unparalleled.

This vehicle underwent such a significant transformation, it was overwhelming how glossy it looked after we were finished with it!

THE INSPECTION

After previously working on the vehicle, we knew what we were getting into when this BMW came in.

Not only was there significant dirt and contamination on the vehicle - but underneath we found swirls, scratches, rotary holograms (from bad polishing elsewhere), and sanding marks.

We knew that this project meant a lot to the owner - so we did everything we could to go above and beyond, providing truly exceptional results.

WASH PROCESS

Like every vehicle that comes to us for professional-grade protective services, we always begin the service by thoroughly washing the vehicle and ridding it of contamination often found on Saskatchewan-driven vehicles - including rail/transport dust, road salts and grime.

This BMW M235i was meticulously prepped using the following methods:

Proper 2-bucket hand wash of the body of the vehicle
Individual wheel washing with a dedicated bucket & cleaning tools
Chemical decontamination for iron & tar removal
Clay bar process completed as required to further remove contamination
Combination of air-drying and hand-drying the vehicle using our filtered, heated air dryer and soft premium-grade microfiber towels

Properly prepping the vehicle ensures the results we achieve are consistent every time. As seen in the next section, the wheels would be removed and heavily cleansed while the calipers also received a heavy cleaning prior to both being ceramic-coated for easy future washing.

PAINT CORRECTION

As this BMW had severe swirls, scratches, and holograms - it was clear that prior to applying our professional-grade ceramic coating, we would need to restore this paint.

This meant multiple stages of polishing to remove a significant amount of the paint defects found across the vehicle. We achieve these incredible results by carefully inspecting and measuring the paint depth using our paint thickness gauge - then evaluating what is required to exceed expectations without compromising the long-term integrity of the existing paint system.

Rather than 'hammering away' endlessly for short-term gratification that would cause future issues, we utilize cutting-edge technology, tools, and products to restore a defect-free surface without sacrificing long-term durability.
